This award is presented to clinics, physicians

Technologies and tools used to enhance the healthcare
process. Through the use of Digital MD Systems® DOC™,

TX and Dr. Kevin J. Doody were both recognized as
finalists and registered nurse Monica Andrews
was awarded nurse of the year.
Microsoft® HUG winner and finalists (1/19/2004)
Microsoft Healthcare Users Group (MS-HUG) and
Microsoft Corp. announced the finalists and
winners for the Microsoft® HUG Award.
Dr. Kevin Doody from the Center of Assisted
Production (CAR) in Bedford, TX was named the
winner of the Physician of the Year. Monica Andrews,
a registered nurse (RN) at CAR was named as a
finalist as well as CAR. These finalists were chosen
for demonstrating excellent use of Microsoft Technologies
and tools to enhance the healthcare process through
the utilization of their chosen electronic medical record
(EMR) solution, Digital MD Systems® Doc™.
Doc has been implemented at CAR for four years by Dr. Doody
as an EMR that has created a virtually paperless environment.
We congratulate Dr. Doody, CAR and Monica Andrews for their
work in enhancing patient care through DOC.
Microsoft® HUG winner and finalists (12/11/2002)
Microsoft Healthcare Users Group (MS-HUG) and
Microsoft Corp. announced the finalists and
winners for the Microsoft® HUG Award. Among the
finalists were Dr. Kevin Doody and his fertility center,
The Center for Assisted Reproduction (CAR) in Bedford, TX.
These finalists were chosen for demonstrating excellent
use of Microsoft Technologies and tools to enhance the
healthcare process through the utilization of their
chosen EMR solution, Digital MD Systems® DOC™.
DOC is a turn-key EMR solution, specifically designed
as a tool for Reproductive Endocrinologists. During the
three year implementation of DOC at CAR, Dr. Doody has
noticed a twenty percent increase of patients seen per
year, while maintaining the same amount of labor.
Costs associated with paper charting, such as transcription,
have been eliminated, and chart documentation time has
been cut in half while allowing for a more comprehensive
documentation technique. Digital MD Systems would like
to congratulate Dr. Doody and the Center for Assisted Reproduction
for this great honor.
