  Can I use A Tablet PC?
Yes. DOC has been tested and installed in clinics using tablet PC's. DOC works seamlessly with the tablet technology.

Can I use a wireless network?
Yes. With the improvement in the speed and security of wireless networks physicians have started to install DOC in a wireless environment.  DOC's functionality is unchanged by a wireless installation.

Does DOC have a scanning module?
Yes. DOC integrates with market leading TWAIN compliant barcoding device. Scanned documents are linked to patient files and are accessible by the practitioner at any time.

Can I recieve results from an outside lab electronically?
Yes. Electronic lab results are seamlessly downloaded into your DOC software.

Can DOC graph results?
DOC graphs lab results automatically and shows the corresponding medications that the patient is currently taking. Graphing of manually entered data such as BP is also available.

How long have you been in business?
DOC has been incorporated as a company in 1997 and have had our first installation the same year. The product was in development for 6 years prior to its release in 2003.

Does DOC have the ability to do custom practice queries?
Yes. DOC has developed a unique and very powerful Practice Search function that allow practitioners to easily look at the information in their practice and set practice rules based on recommended guidelines or other information.

How many templates does DOC currently ship with?
DOC currently ships with over 100 pre-designed templates and the ability to add as many as an individual physician sees fit.

Can I create my own templates?
Yes. During the training you will learn how to create and modify your own templates.

Can I modify the templates that DOC ships with?
Yes. Once you started using the program, feel free to modify the templates to suit your practice needs.

Can I share my templates with other MDs?
Yes. Templates can be designed to be used only by the creator of the template or by the whole practice.

Are upgrades included with my annual license fee?
All upgrades, updates, patches and fixes are included in the annual license fee.

Are there any additional charges for support?
No. We believe that we are here to help you and we'll do everything in our power to make the process as smooth as possible.

How frequently are the programs updated?
DOC has quarterly program updates. However, if you detect and report a problem with the program, we will fix it and update you as soon as possible.

Can I transfer charts electronically?
Yes. All patient clinical information can be transferred electronically from one DOC clinic to another.

Can DOC help me manage waiting lists for my practice?
DOC has multiple waiting lists that can be used by physicians and their staff to streamline the current waiting lists administration.

What hardware do I need?

Can you get information from my current system into DOC?
Yes. DOC will import patient demographic information from any program that can create the standard patient file. This is included in the purchase price. If your current program is not capable of producing this file - we can do a custom data import.

Can I access my database from home, the hospital or the OR?
Yes. You can access your office records from any computer equipped with a modem. If you have a high-speed access line, your access time to your system will be the same as if you were in your office.

What data security do you offer?
As your data is stored on your own computer only you and your staff can access it. The computer keeps a log of all authorized users as to what files were accessed and when. Your access to the system is password protected. We can help you set up a secure remote access.

Is there documentation that I can receive about your product?
Yes. Please leave us your contact request info and someone from DOC will contact you.

Where can I see a demo of your product?
Call, or e-mail us to arrange an internet based personalized demo.

What kind of support do you offer for your software?
Our help desk is staffed during standard business hours for all the time zones that we have clients. During these times your call will be handled directly. Emergency calls and after hour calls will be directed to a cell phone/pager for an immediate response. We are able to offer remote problem solving via the Internet. Please read our Support Policy.

Do you offer training?
We are committed to fully training your staff and physicians to facilitate maximum program use. We anticipate that our clients have basic knowledge of Windows based program use. Additional training for both staff and physicians can be purchased.

How much do your products cost?
The cost depends on the number of physicians and the specific DOC modules that you would like to purchase. We would be glad to offer you a detailed quote once you provide us with your specific practice needs.
