Digital MD Systems was founded in 1997 to provide medical offices with a turnkey software solution.  Part of this solution was to include a comprehensive Electronic Medical Record software program.  We researched the existing EMRs on the market were unable to find one that met the needs of our solution.  We concluded that settling for an EMR that didn't meet all the needs of the industry was not an option and that it would be far more beneficial to write one that would.  For the past 4 years, we have been researching and developing our flagship product, DOC.  DOC is the most advanced product currently available - combining unparalleled communication, imaging, laboratory, and reporting features with an easy to use interface allowing quick and easy documentation of all patient encounters. On October 15, 2003, we officially started marketing DOC by presenting it at the American Society for Reproductive Medicine convention in San Antonio, Texas.  We have accomplished great things with DOC in a short period.  The Microsoft Healthcare Users Group has recongnized one of our clients as a "Microsoft Healthcare Clinic of the Year", a "Microsoft Physician of the Year", and a "Microsoft Nurse of the Year" with the implementation of DOC at their respective clinics.
